Jednak w publikacji nie ma o tym słowa. Kobiety zastępujące świętych w nazwach ulic nie są feministkami. Zmiany nazw mają historyczne uzasadnienie. Np. Maria Casas Mira, która zastąpi św. Rafała, była po prostu lokalną działaczką związaną z dzielnicą Raval. Wszystko ma swoje początki w XIX wieku, kiedy to tereny należały do rodziny Antoniego Trilli. Ulice nazwano na część jego córek, ale nie wypadało wtedy nazywać czegoś w przestrzeni publicznej imionami prawdziwych świeckich kobiet, więc nadano imiona świętych. Barcelona po prostu PRZYWRACA te kobiety na swoje należne miejsce.Skąd PAP więc wziął dane o tym, że to feministki? Tego nie wiadomo.
